I am entering my 25th year of coaching tennis. Sports have always been a center of my life for as long as I can remember. I graduated from Racine Park High School and was a three sport athlete in a very competitive environment. I participated in tennis, basketball, and softball. It was no surprise that I continued to participate in athletics after high school. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and was a dual sport athlete in softball and tennis. Although I began playing tennis in high school, it was the only sport that I could continue to play and compete in for a lifetime. My teaching career includes teaching health and physical education. In 2017, I became a Nationally Board Certified Teacher.
Currently, Coach Rohloff and I are running the Sun Prairie Tennis Association with hopes of growing tennis in the Sun Prairie tennis community. My goals are to grow tennis in the community and continue to promote our “No Cut” tennis program.
Haley Rohloff - JV Head Coach
This year I will be a 2nd year teacher at Sun Prairie High School teaching physical education and health. I graduated UW-Madison with a degree in Kinesiology - Physical Education in May 2020. I attended Elkhorn high school where I played varsity singles tennis for 4 years and was also a 4 year varsity hurdler in track. Currently, I play tennis recreationally with my husband. I coached my first season of tennis during the alternate fall season of 2020 and am excited for our upcoming fall season! Our athletes have been working hard and seeing their improvement and gaining passion for a sport I love is incredibly rewarding. In 2021 I also took over as the director for the Sun Prairie Tennis Association, and with the support of Sandee Ortiz, we held a kids summer program consisting of 94 players! I look forward to continuing the promotion of tennis throughout the Sun Prairie community for years to come!
