Maggie Gugel- Head Varsity Coach
Coach Gugel served as our assistant coach for the past two seasons and is currently a science teacher at Sun Prairie East High School. Over the past two seasons, Coach Gugel has done a fantastic job of making connections with our golfers and has helped them develop on and off the course. During her interview, it was evident how organized and prepared she is to lead our girls golf team. She also stressed the importance of building a positive team culture and the role the students would play in developing that culture. Coach Gugel is extremely excited to get to work and not only build the girls golf program at Sun Prairie West but youth girls golf in the community.

Lisa Mezei- Head JV Coach
Coach Mezei has been our girls junior varsity head coach since the inaugural season of Sun Prairie West Girls Golf four years ago. She is currently an AVID Elective Teacher and AVID Coordinator at Sun Prairie West High School. She is passionate about coaching girls at every stage of their golf journey, and is dedicated to highlighting their strengths, ensuring each athlete continues to find joy in this lifelong sport.
