Dbl reeds should have a minimum of 3 reeds in good working order, reed case & cork grease
Oboe and Bassoon should look to Nielsen or double reed specialty stores for their reeds
Single reeds should own their own box of reeds, a reed guard IV (holds 4 reeds), swab and cork grease
Clarinet: Vandoren #3 ½ or 4, Rico Grand Concert Select, #3
Bass Clarinet: Vandoren #3

Mouthpiece/ligature recommendations for single reed players

("college level" mouthpiece)

Clarinet: Vandoren M15, B45, 5RV and similar Vandoren Optimum leather or metal ligature
Bass Clarinet: Vandoren B50 Mouthpiece and Vandoren Optimum ligature
Saxophone: Vandoren AL3, TL3 or BL3 mouthpiece with Vandoren "Optimum", ebonite ligature
