School Supply List

The Sun Prairie Area School District is an AVID District. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college and career readiness system that ensures every student has access to key strategies to help them become college, career, and community ready. All students, in grades 6-8, will be provided the following materials as part of our schoolwide organizational system: a 3-inch binder, plastic dividers, and a supply pouch.

A binder, dividers, and a supply pouch will be provided for each PV student.   Please keep in mind that none of these need to be new.

•      24-48 Sharpened #2 Pencils
•       4 Highlighters
•       4 Pens (Blue or Black)
•       1 Composition Notebook
•       2 Folders (with holes)
•       3 Single Subject Notebooks (must have holes, wide or college ruled based  on  student preference)
•        1 WIRED earbuds or headphones
•        1 Three Pack of Sticky Notes
•        2 Glue Sticks
•        12-24 Colored pencils
•        1 box of washable markers
•        Shoes for Physical Education (tennis shoes)
•        Scientific Calculator (8th grade only)

       Recommended/Not Required: (Based on student preference)

•        Clothes for Physical Education (shorts/sweatpants and t-shirt)
•         Erasers
•         Water Bottle
•         Chromebook Mouse
•         Bottle of Glue
•         Black Permanent Markers
•         Thin Tipped Permanent Markers
•         1 Package of lined 3x5 index cards (100 count preferred)
•         1 Pack of Loose Leaf Paper (wide rule preferred)
