Greetings Prairie Phoenix Academy Families and Community,

Welcome to another phenomenal year at PPA!!

As we embark upon the 23-24 school year, I would like to share my sheer enthusiasm for the continuous growth of the PPA community!!  Prairie Phoenix Academy is the third high school in Sun Prairie.  We offer an in-person alternative/personalized learning journey for our scholars.  We also have programs within PPA that include the Graduate Equivalency Diploma, Option 2 (GEDO2), we have a partnership with Jobs for American Graduates (JAG), and we are a Community School. 

PPA staff pride themselves on building relationships, preparing scholars for life post-high school, and uplifting their voices. PPA offers a smaller setting with advisors that teach using an interdisciplinary workshop model that is personalized learning to fit the interest and learning styles of individual students. We also offer project based and/or experiential learning opportunities to support students.

Our students at PPA feel a sense of belonging and an appreciation for their voices being included in their academic journey.  They enjoy the community building environment that encompasses the staffs’ valued presence, that goes far and beyond to champion students' success toward completion of high school and post-secondary.  

We want to continue building strong partnerships with PPA families.  They are always welcomed and treasured, in building outstanding relationships. 

PPA has an enrollment process that is supported by the Student Service Team at the scholars boundary school.

PPA will continue to RISE UP, in building a strong Culture of Care, Disrupting Inequities, and implementing Rigorous and Coherent teaching practices.
