School Supply Lists

 

School supply information for the 2023-2024 school year.

The Sun Prairie Area School District is an AVID District. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college and career readiness system that ensures every student has access to key strategies to help them become college, career, and community ready. All students, in grades 6-8, will be provided the following materials as part of our schoolwide organizational system:

• a 3-in binder

• plastic dividers

• supply pouch.

**In addition, the following supplies (listed below, by grade level) are needed by students.

6th grade:

3 packs of 24 pencils

1 pack colored pencils

1 highlighter

1 pack of markers

3 glue sticks

1 scissors

6 pads of 3x3 post-it notes

1 pack of loose leaf paper/wide rule

1 spiral notebook

2 folders (different colors)

1 ear buds/headphones

1 calculator (optional)

1 chromebook mouse (optional)

 

7th grade:

2 large packs of #2 pencils

1 pack of pens

1 pack of colored pencils

1 box of markers

3 highlighters

4 spiral notebooks

1 pack 3x3 post-it notes

2 folders

1 calculator (basic)

1 set of earbuds/headphones

1 chromebook mouse (recommended)

 

8th Grade:

pencils

pens - blue, black, red

highlighters

1 package of colored pencils

1 scissors

glue

1 pack of sticky notes

2 composition notebooks

2 spiral notebooks

1 package of loose leaf paper

1 folder

1 set of earbuds

1 scientific calculator

 

Please note that school supplies do not have to be new. Students are encouraged to use supplies that they may have from the previous school year
