3rd grade students will learn and play board games, including classics and newer games that focus on cooperative play, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.

LGI

The Horizon Orff Ensemble is a club for 4th and 5th grade students that will meet from October through December. This musical group will focus on playing instruments with some singing and movement added in. We may have some performances outside of the school day. You may be in both Horizon Orff Ensemble and the Hawk Choir.

Music Room

The Hawk Choir is a club for 4th and 5th grade students that will meet from January through May. This singing group will perform at multiple events outside of the school day, including a Madison Capitols Hockey Game, All-City Choir Festival, and Arts & Activities Night. You may be in both the Horizon Orff Ensemble and the Hawk Choir.

4th & 5th graders lead student activities and help with events and/or fundraisers around the school, as well as a myriad of tasks that support different staff members around the school. Students will help make building-wide decisions to reward and recognize great students.
