Family University Workshops
The Sun Prairie Area School District is proud to offer a variety of parent workshops, which provide information for parents of students with disabilities. Workshops focus on topics such as transition, learning, financial planning and much more. Stay tuned as we continue to grow this outreach.
All parent education events are free. Workshops target parents of children ages 3 to 21 years of age in and around the Sun Prairie area. If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to the Student Services Administrative Assistant at 608-834-6524.
As part of our Family University series, we are inviting staff and community members to a screening of the documentary SCREENAGERS, followed by a 30min facilitated discussion. This film screening is possible due to a grant from the Sun Prairie Education Foundation.

Movie overview: Filmmaker Delaney Ruston takes a deeply personal approach as she probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including her own, to explore struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through poignant and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, SCREENAGERS reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.
