Welcome to Eastside—Home of the Eagles!

Greetings Eastside Community,

My name is Shane Boeve, and I am honored to serve as the new principal at Eastside Elementary. It is truly a privilege to join this incredible school and the Sun Prairie community.

At Eastside, our Eagles soar because we put relationships at the heart of everything we do. We believe that strong connections between learners and staff are essential for building trust, fostering engagement, and helping every child grow into the very best version of themselves.

Our commitment is to meet each learner exactly where they are and support them in reaching new heights academically, socially, and emotionally. We know that when students feel safe, valued, and inspired, they are more willing to take risks, learn from mistakes, and achieve their fullest potential.

We believe in the power of community and the importance of working together — staff, families, and learners — to create an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the playground, or out in the community, we are dedicated to helping each of our Eagles develop into kind, confident, and curious individuals.
