Welcome to Sun Prairie East High School, home of the Cardinals!

Sun Prairie East is a thriving, diverse community of over 1300 students in 9th through 12th grade. Our focus is serving the whole student through a multitude of class offerings, extracurricular and co-curricular activities, and learning opportunities that extend outside of the classroom.

High school is a critical time for a student's growth as they move toward graduation and the next phase of their adult lives. To that end, Sun Prairie East is a place where students can explore what interests them and is a priority for their growth and learning. We offer many unique programs, such as our Business Leadership Academy, over 18 AP courses, STEM Academy, advanced manufacturing courses, a robust Youth Apprenticeship program, and multiple musical ensembles. We want students to be able to explore whatever field of study interests them most! 

We also recognize that not all learning happens in the classroom. Here at East, we offer every sanctioned WIAA sport! Additionally, we have over 30 school-sponsored clubs and activities that range from Black Student Union to Model UN. Our goal is to make sure every student has a sport or activity they can participate in. We know that students are involved in our Cardinal Community in many different ways and find success. 

Sun Prairie East is also a place where we value community. There are many ways to get involved as a Cardinal supporter.
