Attendance Counts

There are many benefits to regular school attendance!

These include:

ACHIEVEMENT – Students who regularly attend school are more likely to pass reading and math assessments than students who do not.

OPPORTUNITY – Being in school every day gives students a chance to learn about post-secondary opportunities, including colleges, apprenticeships or trade programs, and the military.

COMMUNITY – When at school, children learn how to become good citizens and develop social skills and a broader worldview.
