The Sun Prairie Area School District is launching an Adapted Sports League to increase accessibility and equity in high school athletics. Students in grades 9-12 with IEPs or 504s who otherwise have been unable to access competitive athletics, will have the opportunity to participate in soccer, hockey, and wiffle ball.

Sun Prairie Area School District Assistant Superintendent Janet Rosseter was recognized as the Wally Zastrow Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient by the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO).
On Feb. 22-24, 42 members of Sun Prairie High School’s DECA chapter competed in the State Career Development Conference and Competition. A total of 22 Sun Prairie students advanced to the International Career Development Conference.
The Sun Prairie Area School District hosted its annual ‘Read Your Heart Out’ event at Creekside Elementary, Westside Elementary and Northside Elementary schools. This event was celebrated on Friday, Feb. 18, engaging nearly 1,000 students from kindergarten to fifth grade, along with caregivers, community members and members of the district’s leadership team.
