Meal Services

We are committed to providing food service for families in need.   

 

Walk-up/Drive-through food service sites available to kids 18 and under:

No children (18 and under) will be turned away, even if they do not attend one of the school sites providing food. Children must be present at distribution, and each child will receive a lunch and a breakfast for the next morning.  Please know that due to the circumstances, there will be limited availability for those with dietary needs, including gluten-free and allergies. Meals will be given to-go as there will not be on-site dining. See the map below for all service locations.
 
  • 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri) at the following school sites (Not operating during Spring Break):
    • CH Bird Elementary - 1170 N. Bird Street
    • Westside Elementary - 1320 Buena Vista Drive
    • Northside Elementary - 230 W. Klubertanz Drive
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri) at the following community sites:
    • Boys and Girls Club - 232 Windsor Street
    • VFW Parking Lot - 349 S Walker Way
    • The Element on Main Apartments (Clubhouse) - 102 Park Circle
    • Rolling Prairie Apartments (Clubhouse) -  415 S Bird Street
Safety First - lunch should be consumed or refrigerated by 3pm and breakfast should be refrigerated until eating the next morning.
 

Food service resources available to our community:

  • Sunshine Place food resources will be available for our community to utilize. 
    • Emergency drive up food pantry available
      • Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10am-2pm
      • Tuesday/Thursday: 5pm-7pm
      • Saturday: 9am-11am
    • Mobile drive up food panty for adults and seniors available on Tuesday, March 17th. Every 3rd Tuesday of the month.
    • Sunshine Supper on Mondays from 5:00pm-6:00pm
  • Colonial Club is providing support to seniors in the community.
    • If you or someone you know over 60 that is home bound, please contact 608-837-4611.
