Food Benefits for Children Learning at Home (P-EBT)

  • P-EBT is a federal program that provides temporary benefits to children who normally get free or reduced-priced school meals at school but could not because they have been learning from home full or part time during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • You can use P-EBT funds at any place that also accepts FoodShare/QUEST Card, including many grocery stores and convenience stores.
  • If a student qualifies for free and reduced meals at school, they are eligible for P-EBT benefits.
  • Visit the State of WI page to learn more about P-EBT and how to apply.
  • If you have further questions about your application or eligibility, the State of WI offers a P-EBT support line at 833-431-2224.
  • Still have questions about the application? Watch a video that walks you through the application (English or Spanish).
