The Business Services Department is responsible for the fiscal management of the school district, long-range financial planning, new facility planning, transportation, purchasing, payroll, accounts payable, open enrollment, and facility use billing.

Open Enrollment

Public School Open Enrollment allows parents/caregivers to apply for their children to attend a school district other than the one in which they reside. (This is not changing schools within the Sun Prairie Area School District boundaries). Parents/Caregivers can apply for open enrollment in the spring. However, if you missed the deadline, you can complete the 2024-25 Alternative Open Enrollment Application and email it to Lisa Sprindis at lasprin@sunprairieschools.org.

Open enrollment students are placed at a school based on their home address using this map. The elementary and middle schools “feed” into the two highs school, therefore, open enrollment students must attend elementary and middle schools that will feed into their appropriate high school based what side of the boundary line (east or west) their home address falls.
