2026-27 Creekside Clubs
We are excited to share that we will have some amazing club offerings for Creekside scholars during the 2026-27 school year!
Most clubs will begin the week of October 5th, with an array of after-school clubs running 2:40pm-3:30pm, with a handful of other opportunities that will run 2:40-4:00. Coyote Club has new days and hours this year - we will run Monday through Friday, after school until 4:30 every day. Scholars can be enrolled in an after-school club and Coyote Club. Teachers will transition students from their after-school club to Coyote Club.
You will find a link for an electronic registration form with each of our clubs listed below. Please click the blue underlined link that says <> or cut and paste the bold https://… link into your browser. If you are unable to register your child/children electronically, please contact the club advisor that is listed under the club you would like to choose, and we can definitely get you registered over the phone.
****Transportation home will ONLY be provided for scholars enrolled in Coyote Club. Transportation will be in the form of an activity bus that will depart Creekside Elementary following Coyote Club at 4:30pm. Transportation will NOT be provided after clubs ending at 3:30 or 4:00pm and students must be enrolled in Coyote Club to take the bus. (Students may not wait at the building after a different club to ride the bus.)
A few other notes:
*All Clubs are subject to a minimum of 10 students; if the club will be canceled due to low enrollment, you will be contacted directly from the club advisor.
*Coyote Archers Leadership Club is the only club that will take place during the day. Schedules for those students will be relayed to teachers as needed.
*All club questions should be directed to the specific Advisor for that club.
*There will be no clubs over breaks or on days off of school (including staff only days).
*Students and caregivers will be required to sign an agreement for all clubs. This will be done electronically through the sign up process; a paper form can be sent home on request

Below are our current club offerings, a description of the club, and the google registration form link for that club (*note: all clubs have a different registration link). Please reach out to the club Advisor with any general questions or if you need clarification/support registering. We are happy to offer paper forms for registration if needed.
Please keep in mind that your student can only be signed up for ONE club per day, not including Coyote Club.
MONDAY - FRIDAY
Coyote Club:
Coyote Club (1st-5th) - Emily Veselsky (ejvesel@sunprairieschools.org)
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 2:40pm - 4:30pm & Thursday 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Maximum number of participants: 65
Location: Upstairs Community Schools hallway. Coyote Club will be held in a variety of locations/rooms at Creekside Elementary depending on the projects and curriculum per week.
What is Coyote Club?
Coyote Club is Creekside’s extended after-school program; FREE to students grades 1 - 5 who are looking for a fun and educational program. Coyote Club is run by staff and community members, sponsored by a 21st Century Grant through Community Schools. Our focus will be to enhance math and literacy scores at our school, by learning through child led play based curriculum.
Can your scholar participate in other Creekside after-school clubs, AND Coyote Club? YES! Please sign your students up for multiple clubs if interested. Coyote Club advisors will make sure your scholar(s) get to all clubs they are signed up for!
Students may only sign up for one club per day, outside of Coyote Club. (For example, 4th grade students could not sign up for Free To Be Fit, and Fiber Arts, because they both run on Tuesday's at the same time, however, they could sign up for Free To Be Fit, and Coyote Club.)
Is there transportation available?
YES! We are pleased to be able to offer transportation via school bus at 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
***Please note, that your scholar(s) only qualify for this bussing if they are signed up for Coyote Club and if they regularly qualify for bussing***
Does my student need to be signed up for all five days of Coyote Club?
YES – because we are sponsored through a Community Schools grant, signing up for Coyote Club is a commitment to all five days of attendance.
MONDAY:
Free-2B-Fit Club (K-2nd)- Mrs. Anderson (ajander@sunprairieschools.org)
Day: Monday (2:40-3:30pm)

Location: Gym
Description: This club is an opportunity for students to be moving their bodies safely. We will do a variety of activities that focus on cooperative as well as individual skills. We try to provide the students with their most favorite games that they would typically see during Physical Education, with a little extra flair.
Coyote Choir (3rd - 5th) - Ms. Wisz (kmwisz@sunprairieschools.org)
Day: Monday (2:40-3:30pm)
Maximum number of participants: 25
Location: Music room
Description: The Coyote Choir is a performing group open to any 4th and 5th graders who would like to perform throughout the year at Creekside, the All City Choir Concert, and in the community. Chorus members will develop skills such as singing with good tone, learning to harmonize and blending their voices as an ensemble. A successful musical ensemble depends on all members of the team, so consistent attendance is important. We will sing all different types of music for different occasions and discover how fun it can be to sing in a group. No prior singing experience is required.
Soccer Club (2nd-5th) - Mr. Krivacek (kakriva@sunprairieschools.org)

Location: Outside (meet by the soccer fields near the playground)
Description: The aim of this club is to provide a positive and nurturing environment for coyotes of all ability levels to develop their soccer skills. Activities will include the introduction of proper dribbling, passing, and shooting technique and we will always include scrimmages to conclude each session. Rules and expectations will be reviewed so no playing experience is necessary! Players should wear clean athletic shoes and athletic clothes.

Fiber Arts Club (3rd-5th) - Mrs. Kudrle (bhkudrl@sunprairieschools.org)

Location: Art LAB (C103)
Description: The Fiber Arts Club is an opportunity for beginner and intermediate fiber artists to deepen their learning of fiber media and techniques. Students can also socialize with other students who share the same interest in fiber outside of the designated school hours. Students develop skills such as hand-sewing, weaving, embroidery, etc. and apply them to both functional and decorative artworks.

Location: LGI and Library
Description: Students enrolled in the RISE programs will explore social emotional learning through a mental health based curriculum. Advisors will lead students through activities utilizing physical movement, journaling, small group conversations, art projects, cooking, and more. Students will learn how to express themselves through positive words, positive interactions and leadership.
Book Club (Kinder-2nd) - Mrs. Mitchell (pmmitch@sunprairieschools.org)

Description: Join the Book Club, where Kinder, 1st and 2nd graders embark on exciting literary adventures! Each month, we dive into a new book filled with mystery, magic, and friendship. Together, we'll discuss our favorite characters, share our thoughts, and even create fun activities related to the stories we read. Whether you're a seasoned reader or just starting to explore the world of books, everyone is welcome! Bring your imagination, and let's discover new worlds together!
WEDNESDAY:

Location: Mrs. Garvey's kindergarten classroom
Description: Grady’s Garden provides research-driven, age-appropriate, purposeful and targeted curriculum in the form of social emotional learning, nutrition and health, and gardening using experiential learning extensions, such as vegetable tastings, recipe testing, games, and other activities.
THURSDAY:
Girl Scouts in Action (Identifying girls in grades K-5) Kate Chapman: (ChapmanK@gsbadgerland.org)

Description: Girl Scouts is back at Creekside, and is ready to start another year! Girl Scouts in Action is run by our certified Girl Scout leaders, held right at Creekside Elementary, and is open to identifying girls in all grades, kindergarten through 5th. Girl Scouts in Action will run on Thursdays from 1:30-2:30 starting in October. Scan the QR code for free enrollment, or email Kate Chapman with questions.
