Our Points of Pride
- Creekside is by your side! We are a Community School serving nearly 400 young Coyotes. We continue to learn about the needs and interests of our families so that our school can support and serve the members of our community. Our Coyotes bring a rich diversity to our school community, ready to aim their ARROW (Acceptance, Resilience, Risk-taking, Ownership, Working Collaboratively) high each and every day!
- We offer 4K morning and afternoon opportunities at Creekside for our youngest Coyotes (and other Sun Prairie little ones!).
- All Creekside educators are aligned to Professional Learning Teams, through which we build each other’s knowledge and expertise in service of our students. Creekside educators continue to grow in our anti-racist and restorative justice-oriented approach to everything we do. We strive to ensure that all students feel a deep sense of belonging, and continue to collaborate to ensure all students finish each year reading at grade level or beyond.
- Creekside excels at intentionally planning and celebrating inclusive school-wide events, including creativity, talents, and personal interests. Some examples include: monthly family nights, Field Day, Safety Day, art shows, talent shows, an international fashion show, concerts, school murals, gymnastics, community gardening (coming soon!), and much, much more!
- Creekside has applied for and received a number of grants from the Sun Prairie Education Foundation over the years to fund opportunities for our Creekside community, including literacy initiatives and a community garden.
- You have a PaCC (Parents and Community, Caregivers) at Creekside! We have parent, caregiver, and community volunteers in our school nearly every day of the year.
- We begin each week with a Coyote Connection (virtually or in person!)- a gathering of all students and staff to celebrate, learn, and be in community.
