Welcome to Sun Prairie! A community rich in diversity and resources.
Sun Prairie is a dynamic city located in northeastern Dane county, just east of the City of Madison. Sun Prairie is one of the fastest growing cities in Wisconsin, with a growing population of over 30,000. It offers quality schools, a historic downtown area, outstanding parks and neighborhoods that are safe and aesthetically pleasing. Residents of Sun Prairie appreciate the affordability and high standard of living our community provides as well.
Sun Prairie has a very involved community. The Sun Prairie School District encourages further involvement by offering programs, opportunities and facilities that are available to all members of the community. Community members can tutor in our schools, attend music and sporting events, attend guest artist series and theater events at our Performing Arts Center and use the High School Pool during open hours.
